Teaching Amatsu soft tissue therapy in the UK

Frequently asked questions...

What venue do you use?

We generally use the peaceful surroundings of Loudwater Farm, in Loudwater, Rickmansworth, Herts. The ambience is conducive to learning, and gives us plenty of space. For smaller groups we sometimes use Amatsu Clinics UK, in Kings Langley, Herts. Both venues are accessible by public transport or by car as both are close to the M25 and Heathrow and Luton airports.

Other venues can be arranged if we have sufficient numbers of students, so do contact us if you have group of people wishing to learn.

How can I find out more about year 1 and 2 Amatsu training?

Foundation level training for Amatsu Practitioner status is now delivered by LilleyPad Training. Contact them for more details.

What teaching qualifications do the teachers have?

Jane Langston has been trained to teach Amatsu by Stephen Bates and Dennis Bartram, the Principal Trainer of Amatsu Therapy Association, and regularly takes part in continuing professional development, particularly in Anatomy & Physiology, Fascia and Research Techniques. Jane Langston & Gina Lilley have also completed the PTLLS course, with Mark Evans completing the CTLLS course.

How do you support learners?

All learners are given the Amatsu text books and course handouts in both electronic format and hard copy.

All classes are delivered using a spectrum of teaching techniques. Learners are encouraged to activate their learning, and the emphasis is on fun! Hands-on learning at its best. Mentoring continues out of the classroom and staff are always available by email or phone to support where needed.

Is the course affiliated to any governing body?
